PAUSE FOR THOUGHT

I took this photo of a beautiful resting butterfly last summer and couldn't help wondering why it is that mankind is so destructive towards other species and the wider environment. Do we have a death wish on all life (including our own) or are we so selfish that we just do not think about the effect we are having on other species and, indeed, the planet and its ecology. Please think about this butterfly when you next drive your car, put weedkiller on your flowerbeds, throwaway the rubbish that could be recycled - or not even bought in the first place etc. etc. Every little helps Mother Nature!

IN AN ATTEMPT TO PUT AN END TO THE BARBARIC HUNTING OF FOXES WITH DOGS. THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT BANNED THE PRACTICE FROM 2005. UNFORTUNATELY NOT ALL THE HUNTS HAVE ABIDED BY THE NEW LAWS AND IT IS LEFT TO ACTIVISTS FROM THE HUNT SABOTEURS ASSOCIATION TO CONTINUE TO PROTECT THE FOX IN ITS NATURAL ENVIRONMENT.

AS WE ENTER THE NEW YEAR, WE CAN BUT WONDER WHAT'S IN STORE FOR THE WORLD AND WHO ISLAMIC TERRORISTS WILL CALLOUSLY MURDER NEXT....... POLITICIANS/CHILDREN/MUSLIMS/COMMUTERS/BABIES WITH THEIR MOTHERS - ALL THIS IN THE NAME OF A 'GOD' ???? IT IS NOT FAITH , ABSOLUTE MADNESS IS WHAT IT IS!
